Through The Lens

In Memory of Bailey
Mom, do you have to go on another motorcycle ralley?  I'm missing you already.

Never knew a dog who loved to eat snow as much as Bailey did!

You love me no matter what, right Mom?

These are the stairs I take several times a day to get to my apartment. That's 20 steps, landing, 11 steps, open the door and fall down dead in the hallway. That first week was torture. These days I can actually get all the way up the stairs and into the apartment without needing oxygen - mostly.

No shots of the kitchen since there were dishes in the sink when I was snapping away.  The space is rectangular, like a galley.  The 'cans' you see hanging down in front of the windows are the heating ducts suspended from the 30 foot ceiling.  My space has some of the original block and tackle/pulley system hardware still attached to the beams on the ceiling.
From the 'bedroom' - actually standing in my clothes closet.

The living room/dining space.  Yes, the window is open in December.  I have a tree right outside my windows so I get to see the birds up close and personal.

Looking back towards the front of the apartment.  Behind my clothes closet is the bathroom.  To the left of that is the front door.  Guess where Buster likes to lounge - hint: not on the bed but it's close.

My Christmas Tree: Connie & Mel should recognize the only ornaments I kept.

Christmas came early for Buster - an ortho bed to support his weary bones after busy days at the dog park.

Where the t.v. will eventually go

I took over 1000 pictures during the 2 days of scrimmages as I was trying to make sure I got a shot of all the kids.  I'm still going through the photos, identifying the boys and putting their pics in separate folders for future reference.  I'm sharing some of our 2011 draft picks and trades here:
